Sugared Cranberries

                                                                                  Sugared Cranberries are the ultimate holiday treat! Perfect for snacking and decorating desserts.

My oldest daughter loves them so do I. It really is all about the little things to make kids feel special. My girls loves when I surprise them with something yummy. Making sugared cranberries requires just 3 ingredients – fresh cranberries, sugar ,water, and the end result is absolutely beautiful and delicious  Sugared Cranberries.

Ingredients:

2 cups sugar divided

1 cup water

2 cups fresh cranberries

  1. In a medium saucepan combine 1 cup sugar+one cup water. Bring to simmer, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat and cool.                                                           
  3. Place washed cranberries into a medium bowl+pour cold sugared water over cranberries. Cover and refrigerate for couple of hours or overnight.                  
  4. Strain cranberries and roll in 1/2 cup of sugar. Mix it well by shaking your bowl and place sugared cranberries into refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes. Sprinkle remain 1/2 cup of sugar to coat. Don’t close them for an hour and let them dry out in the refrigerator.Store them in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  5. Enjoy as a snack or as a topping for any desserts.
