Easy Cranberry Sauce

This easy and delicious recipe takes only 15 minutes to make and let me tell you this – a store bought Cranberry Sauce can’t even compete with the homemade one. Love the perfect combination of sweet and tart in this sauce.  It sure is a perfect compliment to your Holiday meal.

For my side of the family, Thanksgiving is usually hosted by my sister in law Tanya (Peter’s wife), and that’s where I tried Cranberry Sauce for the first time. I loved how cranberry sauce and turkey combo tasted like and decided that whenever I’ll be hosting any party with roasted turkey on the menu, I just have to make my own homemade Cranberry Sauce. After searching around for a good recipe and watching few videos on YouTube on how to make it, I realized that it’s not complicated at all. I made some and served it last night for my guests and everyone loved it so much that I decided to share this recipe with all of you, my lovely friends❤️.

So easy to make and oh so delicious!

By the way, great news!🤗:

This Cranberry Sauce can be made up 3 days in advance!! Yay 😀

Ingredients:

1-1/2 cup sugar

1 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed)

1 cup water

24 oz fresh cranberries

pinch of salt

1 cinnamon stick

1 piece of orange peel

1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat combine water, sugar, salt and orange juice.

2. Add cranberries, cinnamon stick and orange peel.

3. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently.

4. Continue cooking for about 10 minutes or so, until most of the cranberries have popped.

5. Let cool, cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

This Cranberry Sauce is a perfect match for my Roasted Turkey recipe. Give them a try, you won’t regret it.

Enjoy❤️.
