Wedding Cabbage Salad With a Crunch

A nice refreshing salad for any occasion. This salad is wonderful. Few years ago I have tried it first time and from that time, I can not remember any party with out it on a table. He is light with a sweet taste. Best news for moms is that Wedding Cabbage Salad is  kids approved:).Hope it will become a favorite dish for many of you as well.

Ingredients for Wedding Cabbage Salad With a Crunch:

1 head cabbage

1 cup green onion

2 packages Ramen noodles chicken flavor

1/2 cup roasted walnuts or almond

1 cup Canola oil or extra light olive oil

6 Tbsp vinegar

5 Tbsp sugar

1/2 tsp pepper

2 packs of chicken seasoning from Ramen noodles package

1.Toss the noodles in the frying  pan over medium heat to make them crunchy.

2.Slice cabbage+green onion. Place all ingredients over the top of cabbage (do not pour the dressing yet) and keep refrigerated till serving time.

3.In a small cup, combine 1 cup oil+6 Tbsp vinegar+6 Tbsp sugar+1/2 Tsp black pepper+2 packages Ramen seasoning (you will find it inside of the Noodles packages).. Cover the dressing and refrigerate  till serving time. Usually, I do dressing the night before, that way its not that stressful while I am busy with other dishes.

4. Right before serving, pour dressing over salad and mix it well all together.
