Caviar Phyllo Bites
Hey! I hope everyone had a great time and enjoyed the snow last night. I am happy to share this very easy and delicious appetizer with you all. These are pretty much always on my menu list for past few years, especially when I know I will have a big crowd to feed. Everyone loves them and no leftovers recorded yet. You can use black caviar as well. Sometimes, I do it with both : red and black caviar and it looks fantastic on a table.
Keep this recipe in mind for your next brunch or party, it will be a hit!
Ingredients:
30 fillo shells (2packs)
8oz cream cheese, room temperature
2 garlic cloves, minced
1tsp chopped baby dill
Caviar
Italian parsley (for the garnish)
1. Bake phyllo cups according to the package directions.
2. Combine cream cheese+minced garlic+chopped dill. Place filling in a pastry bag or ziplock and fill each cup.
3. Place a small amount of caviar over each cup and garnish with Italian parsley.
Enjoy!
These look so cute! I have to try!
Go for it, they are bomb:)
What tip# did you use for the pastry bag?
1M Wilton
Can it be made the night before? Thanks
I would not recommend that. Phyllo cups will be soft and you want them to be crispy. What you can do ( what I do) is you can bake the phyllo cups the night before and you can prep the cream cheese filling the night before. Then it will take you no more then 5 minutes to get them done) that way you will get crispy and fresh appetizer!
On the package it says to bake 3-5 minutes. Is that how long you bake too? thanks
I bake 5 minutes . But every range is different so make sure not to burn them)
